The idea behind the project is

to create new bio and eco friendly composite. For me hemp seems to be pretty good candidate to create such material, but of course it have disadvantages as well. Mainly I am concerned about its durability (which seems pretty weird, but lemme explain). Hemp is really durable plant, it can grow almost everywhere (its was born in Hindukush so), and it can be big advantage, but also big problem. There is another plant which was really interesting for botanists and soviets (depends on which part of the Europe we are talking about). Its name is the giant hogweed. To be more precise their names are respectively Heracleum mantegazzianum and Heracleum sosnowskyi . Apparently it was so durable, because it was also from Caucasus, so other climate was way milder for it, and in consequence: is spreads so easily, that it become a problem. Moreover whole plant produces furanocoumarin which is toxic, and make human’s (and other animals too) skin really vulnerable to sunlight which leads to burns!

I don’t think hemp may be that dangerous, that it may finish with burns, but it still may be an problem, when it gonna start to be an unwanted plant, because fighting with 4 meter high monsters surely will be hard. Hemp’s height is their weapon to fight against other weeds, but there is an danger that our hemp will became our big (indeed) enemy.

As it is my master thesis (and term project), unfortunately I will not post everything on this markdown (finally maybe I gonna post it by LaTeX2HTML, if it gonna work), but do not worry, as soon as I will start with it, the link to PDF gonna be below (if my university accept it as OpenAccess work).
