Future houses gona have biodigesters in the basements, and aeroponic on the roof. They gonna be fully energetically self-sufficient due to biogas plants for power and heat, and the plants from the top could be used as a base for bioplastics or other construction materials (because I would not be very content about eating food crops with toxic PM2.5 particles inside). Before these we should recover heat out of our water waste!
